Well last week was quite the week. Our picks in general were good, the special Tennessee bet was excellent. I hope you stayed with the Snake on that one. I did very well. I bet all my computer Sport Book funds on Tennessee and doubled up. I also caught a few baseball games that worked out well.
On Monday the Yanks were playing Toronto the only day game in the majors that day. The Yanks were big favorites and the Snake knew Toronto would absolutely win, which they did, and I cashed in.
This comming weekend i smell something foul in the air. Green Bay 1 point favorite over Minnesota sounds great for Green Bay. The Snake says go with Minnesota, we should win that one.
I want all my friends, which you all are, to be prepared for our Great Plunge game comming hopefully soon. That game will be a sure win for those of us that have the balls for a very big Plunge. We will talk about making The Great Plunge in the comming weeks. I will give you the details of the big risk and reward factors. I have made the Great Plunge a few times in my life of 60 years, and in the next few weeks I will fill you in on the results. Some very good and some a disaster.
This week I want us to play two 3 team teasers. That means we can add or subtract 10 points from the spread. This bet it is even money, meaning ties loose. Seems easy? Its not. Last week I played 6 of them. I won 4 and lost 2. Air Force +11 1/2 plus 10 equals plus 21-1/2 looked great since Air Force beat Utah soundly and upset TCU the previous week. They got hammered by BYU 31 to 6, a 25 point loss. The pros had a bad one too. Detroit plus 6 1/2 against the hurting Eagles, add 10 and you got 16 and 1/2 which looked very good, even the wise Snake took Detroit myself, and thousands of others lost that one big time. Philly 56 Detroit 21.
You have to be very carefull when you look for a teaser. Stay away from the ones that look to good to be true!!! Saturday I suggest these 3 teams……Texas minus 14 and 1/2 which brings us down to 4 1/2 against Kansas St. ……. Iowa over Indiana minus 11 leaves us -1 and a late night one which I really feel confident about is Stanford plus 14 and 1/2, add 10 Stanford plus 24 and 1/2, thats a bet we should win!!!
In the pros for Sunday I will get one on the Blog for you by Sat. night. A few picks which I like but do not recomend to bet alot on are…..Oregon minus 4 over Cal. Alabama plus 2 and 1/2 over FL. State and Purdue minus 21 whacking Notre Dame
The pros we have given you Minnesota over Green Bay. My only other pro pick this weekend is Miami minus 4 over Oakland. Remember I will give you a very solid 3 team pro teaser on Sat. night.
