During an early Saturday evening, while watching my regularly scheduled programming, I came across a show recorded on my dvr called “The Secret Lives of Women.” (Oh MY! How did THAT get there?) I love this show because it documents how women that look like the town librarian secretly have a sex dungeon in their basement, and they are not afraid to let the world know. It inspires me to finally finish decorating MY secret room in the basement.
This particular episode had four women who consider themselves “Cougars.” Now, for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, Cougars are older women who date younger men. Similar to the dirty old man who dates younger women, or as I like to call them: honey, baby, or boyfriend, the Cougar has no interest in her peers, and loves to rob the cradle.
I actually had an experience once with a Cougar. Don’t get all excited, I didn’t have sex with a Cougar, I had one attack me. I was dating an older man, and his mother’s friends were all in love with him. Cougars do not like the younger girls who go after older men, because if the Cougar is in fact old enough, than my man is in their prime age group.
While this attack left me quite afraid of the common Cougar, this televsion show has given me a new perspective. It has increased my hope that when I am in my late 30s, or 40s, and still stuck in the dating scene, I will have even more options than I do now.
I used to be afraid that because I was giving older men the sweet love of a younger woman, that I was clearly fucking up my karma for my later years. I was nervous that later in life, the men my age that I would eventually settle down with would no longer be interested beause they would be too busy getting ass from sexy young women. Now I know that by that time, my affinity for older men will become one for younger men, and they will all be waiting to be rocked by a wise woman.
Ah yes, the future looks bright.

Heh heh, sounds like you’ve got things all figured out! I’ve been setting my sights on some older chicks lately, myself…go cougars! (except the violent ones)
