Southsnake’s Week 7 Predictions

I hope you all had a very good week. Our picks last week worked out well. I promised I would study hard for you. This week nothing looks great but we should have some winners for you.

I want to comment on an e-mail we received from a die hard Tennessee Fan. He feels strongly Tennessee will beat Alabama. He is probably right, but that is such a big rivalry that i personally would stay away from it. I would feel very good about it if I teased it. Meaning, pick 3 teams and add 10 points to the spread, which at this time has Alabama favored by one. Give me 11 and I fall in love with Tennessee. I could never talk this guy off Tennessee because he bets with his heart and sometimes not with his head.

I bet against the Red Sox on Monday. Everyone knows I have loved the Sox for almost 60 years. But The Snake knew that at least 90 % of the money was on the Japaneese pitcher, probably more.

Do the Books Loose? The Snake who alway’s talks The Truth plunged on Cleveland. I also did not like them when Wakefield pitched. Also, by now we know how South Florida fared. The Snake thinks they had a real bad night.

Now for my picks .

College….Go with Indiana getting 7 1/2 against Penn St. Go with Wake Forrest giving Navy 3, and Michigan giving 2 1/2 to Illinois.

Pro’s…… Take New Orleans giving 9 to Atlanta. Take New England giving only 16 1/2 to Miami, and Seatle giving 9 to St Louis.
